We are a network of microchurches learning to live the path of Jesus.
When We Meet
Scattered
We believe tight community is the foundation for your spiritual formation in the Way of Jesus, so Microchurches are the main thing we do.
Microchurches meet twice per month, usually on Sundays.
Gathered
All our microchurches come together one Sunday per month for a traditional service at the Alma Boys & Girls Club.
Everyone is welcome (we really do mean that). Doors open at 10:00AM and services begin at 10:30AM.
Sent
We practice living on mission one Sunday per month instead of having a traditional or micro church service.
For us, that mostly looks like throwing parties and giving gifts.
The Next Four Weeks
What We Do
One Path
We want to participate with God in renewing the emphasis that being Christian is as much (or more!) about a way of being as it is about mere belief. Jesus is our model and way; this is our path.
Four Devotions
Following the example of the first Christians, we break bread, fellowship, study the Scriptures, & pray every time we gather. These four devotions (Acts 2:42) are our practice.
Two Loves
Jesus said the most important thing was to love God and neighbor (Mark 12:30-31). We believe these two loves are intricately interwoven, so we explore ways we can live into them with one another and our community. This is our mission.
Why Micro?
Deep // Shallow
We want you to develop a healing relationship with God that affects every single aspect of your life (yes, even that part), and a faith like that just isn’t possible when we wear it like a fashion accessory instead of a way of life. To be Christian is to take Jesus seriously.
Communal // Individualistic
We celebrate the uniqueness in every person and greatly value what is accomplished in the quiet places when we are alone with God, but the Christian faith only works in the context of a committed community. It cannot be done alone, and we would love to journey with you.
Inclusive // Exclusive
Every one and every thing is profoundly and universally loved and accepted by God, and our existence is inescapably wrapped up in the Divine Flow of Love between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is impossible to be excluded from this reality, so we don’t.
Sacrificial // Consumeristic
Our culture is consumed by consumption, and it is very easy for our lives and churches to become entranced by the allure of bigger, better, and more instead of learning to walk the path of self-sacrificial love modeled by our Crucified Savior.
Original Music
We have an incredibly gifted worship team who regularly create and publish original music. You can find it on every streaming platform by searching for “Evensong.”
